Southampton Stonewall Lecture 2012 – Angela Mason
Part of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender History Month
‘Twenty-Five Years On: The Fight for LGBT Rights in the UK’
The speaker Angela Mason CBE, the first director of Stonewall, will give a personal view on the last quarter century of developments.
This annual Southampton Stonewall lecture has been devised specifically to explore the history of the gay/lesbian past but also to mirror the University’s ongoing commitment to diversity and equality. This year the lecture will also form the conclusion of ‘2012 LGBT History Month’.
